During times of severe weather, the Brookhaven Building may be designated as a temporary storm safe room by the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency. The building is equipped with tables, chairs, and restrooms. Pets are not permitted.
We will post temporary storm safe room announcements here and on social media when provided to us by the Brookhaven-Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency. We ask that you share announcements with family, friends, and neighbors.
We encourage everyone to be safe and refrain from unnecessary travel during times of severe weather. If you have an emergency, please dial 9-1-1 or call the Brookhaven Police Department at 601-833-2424.
